Goodbye to the B's.

Brigitte (left) and Beatrixe (right) have found their new home at The Manor of Mixed Blessings.

I'm still sad that I had to sell them, but I'm positive that they'll be spoiled at their new home. And animal owners cannot keep all the animals they like, unfortunately. 

This whole "paring down the herd" before college  is something I do not like. I wish it were possible to go to the college of my dreams and keep all my babies with me simultaneously.

Kids

Ask any breeder and they will tell you that wethers are always plentiful. This year proved no exception, over fifty percent of my kids born were males. They have now all moved on to loving homes where they shall be the adored pet for years to come. I still have three doelings, two of which are for sale and one (Bambi) who will replace her mother as a show doe. 

I already miss having tiny babies running all over...but breeding season begins again next month, so kids aren't very far way!
